i visited this exhibition by a friend of mine, May Ayres, who is a very talented sculptor, especially working with ceramics on a human scale by carefully firing pieces and reassembling them after firing. The exhibition represents seven years’ work, and is on view in the belfry of a local church. The decayed setting and ceramic sculptures complement each other well. I wish May ‘s work was in a museum or gallery for more people to see.
